The Glen is, without a doubt, the best VRBO property I’ve ever stayed at. It has the perfect mixture of seclusion and serenity. A place you can truly appreciate God’s creation in its entirety. The sounds of the leaves blowing in the wind, the wildlife all around, the views. . . It’s definitely something you have to see firsthand because the experience is indescribable. The Glen was perfect for my family of 5 but could even accommodate more if needed. My wife and I stayed in the cozy Willow House while my 3 daughters stayed in The Aspen House. Enjoying the hot tub under the stars and while the snow fell was the highlight of the stay for 2 of my daughters and going into the sauna after the hot tub was a great way to fully unwind. My other daughter loved seeing the deer that would graze through the property each morning. The quietness and immersion into nature is awe inspiring and spending time on the different decks gives you a great chance to truly draw closer to God. My family and I are truly blessed to be able to stay at The Glen and will DEFINITELY be back again!

Everything about this property was immaculate. Attention to every detail for sure! Hosts were very accommodating to everything we asked. Wonderful place to get away in the mountains and feel like you have your own part of the mountain.

The property is nestled among the trees and hills of the mountains. It provides peace and quiet and there's nothing like listening to the wind in the trees while relaxing in the hot tub. The deck wraps around the house allowing easy access to any part of the property and there's always somewhere to sit in the sun or the shade, whatever you feel like. The sauna provides the opportunity to detox, while the satellite Internet allows you to stay connected or you can disappear for a few days and pretend you are completely disconnected. The trail provides a nice short hike but reminds you of the beautiful surroundings and the wildflowers during the warmer months bring color and wildlife. I peeked out the front window one evening to have a deer looking cautiously back at me about 40 feet away and make his way off into the trees. It was a much needed getaway for our family to forget all the chaos of busy schedules and work for a few days The house is very well thought out with small details like hooks in the shower for hanging up wet bathing suits, all cooking utensils, beautiful wood and tile floors and separate temperature controls by rooms. The owners were available and so kind to offer any assistance needed. We never needed a thing, but it was great to know they were there to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and weren't in need of anything. Beds were all memory foam style mattresses and very comfortable. It's a great place to stay and we definitely plan to return.

WOW! The Glen Colorado is an oasis of serenity in the Colorado mountains. The two houses are beautifully designed and outfitted and the attention to detail is like stepping into a custom-built home. We LOVED it! The amenities also beckon you to RELAX. The outdoor sauna with windows to the valley, the firepit at the top level of the deck and the hot tub just outside the houses were all great and so tastefully built into the hillside. If you are looking to be rejuvenated, we highly recommend The Glen Colorado!

This is such an incredible place to stay! Matt's craftsmanship is so beautiful - it feels very elegant yet rustic. His thoughtful attention to detail truly shows how much he cares. He and his wife went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It is situated in a very peaceful setting that feels like a retreat, with deer that wandered through twice during our stay. The barrel sauna and hot tub are so enjoyable! I highly recommend this place!!

We had a wonderful experience! The property features two separate homes that are perfect for accommodating large groups while still offering plenty of quiet, private spaces. Set among stunning rock outcroppings, beautiful trees, and peaceful ponds, it’s a truly scenic retreat. Our family loved relaxing in the sauna, enjoying morning coffee on the deck, and spending evenings in the hot tub under the stars. The Glen is an absolute must for families visiting Woodland Park

My wife and I absolutely loved this place! We were looking for a nice and quiet weekend away from life and we got exactly that. Matt & Sandie were beyond accommodating. The home is setup with very detailed and user friendly instructions for literally everything. There is not trouble shooting how to use something. I found this very nice especially with the sauna and hot tub. They didn’t spare any details with this property. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Hands down the nicest rental property I’ve found through an app. The home itself is as beautiful as the landscape around it.Having two separate buildings for guests to stay in was very unique and makes for an interesting stay; perfect for families and friend groups.The amenities were wonderful. The sauna and hot tub worked perfectly. Instructions on how to operate both the outdoor amenities and appliances inside were clear and accessible at all times.The host was communicative and kind, always offering to assist us during our stay.This is genuinely a perfect mountain retreat for anyone, any time at all!

Wow! Where to even start... from the moment we booked the reservation to the time we pulled out of the driveway, the hospitality that was shown to us was remarkable. Let's start with the house. We were welcomed with a few of our favorite treats that the hosts had inquired about before our trip. Such attention to detail. The house itself was more perfect than the pictures can do justice. We spent most of our time looking up all of the decorations and things on Amazon because we all wanted to replicate it exactly! It was adorable and beautiful. The accommodations were so great for our girls weekend that we ended up cancelling dinner plans both nights so that we could all just relax and be with each other. Overall, I cannot wait to find time in the future to visit again!

“Glamping” to a whole new level. No detail was without care. Luxury in the mountains. Everything from the fun/adventure of the marked private trail, to the comfort of beds- all was amazing. There is nothing they didn’t think of. Immediately felt like the owners genuinely want to share their piece of heaven with their renters. The vibe is so peaceful, yet lighthearted and fun. Even a real record player and all. We had the most relaxing, fun, quick vacation. Cookware was on point, chairs were so comfortable, linens were high quality (took screen shots of brands so I can purchase for my house😆). The owners provided quick, friendly communication with any questions about the area we had. This property is going to sell out fast. We are very grateful we found it when we did. Our only compliant is we couldn’t stay longer!

This property is amazing! It is very well laid out using the mountain and rock landscape as a beautiful backdrop looking out from the cabin windows or while relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, or by the firepit. The host takes great care and detail to make your stay enjoyable. We are letting all of our family and friends know of this listing and would highly recommend.

What a beautiful property! This was perfect for our family with both the Willow and Aspen houses a few steps from each other. The kids enjoyed the trail on the north side of the property and the hot tub and sauna were a great bonus! A short drive to great trails and an easy drive to Colorado Springs for day trips. I highly recommend this property if you like peaceful mountain vacations.

This retreat has thought of everything! From easy to use qr codes to interact with everything that The Glen has to offer to all the things your family will need for an easy stay. So many fun things to do- we enjoyed christmas records, a sauna, firepit, and a hot tub! We loved the special touches like the s'more set and even some robes. This place is all you can ask for with its rustic charm to modern amenities. The pictures on the website are just a taste of the peaceful setting and beauty all over the property. This place is so well done and will make you want this to be your annual family get away!

Just like the listing describes and more. From the moment you arrive, you are dropped into a slice of paradise tucked back in nature but surprisingly, so close to everything you could ever want to explore or do. The main house is beautiful and comfortable and is bright and light with nothing but God's creation to look at out of the many windows. The spa and hot tub were amazing to use, morning, noon or night as was the top deck and fire pit. I spent each morning having a coffee while sitting in the hot tub and enjoying all of the surrounding beauty in quiet repose of the awakening day. I spent each night in the sauna in the quiet dead of night. The host, Matt, is one of the most responsive and friendly hosts I've ever encountered and he was the most accommodating for sure. He was available via text or to drop by at any moment where needed. There is plenty of space for friends to hang or a family to relax and enjoy all that this area has to offer. The location is amazing as you are close to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, hiking, restaurants and shopping, yet you are so far away from it all when you stay at The Glen. This was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in all my travels and using short-term rentals. The only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer. I will definitely stay here again if ever in this area again.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Matt & Sandie’s cabin in Woodland Park. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained—exactly what you hope for when escaping to the mountains. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed.
The location is perfect: peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet still close enough to town and nearby attractions. You can truly relax and enjoy the Colorado mountain vibe here.
Matt & Sandie were great hosts—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. They made the whole experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway in Woodland Park. We’d love to come back again!

Awesome!!

Awesome views, relaxing and peaceful area, great hiking and just an overall great experience. The cabin was so clean, updated, and inviting and the interior design was perfect and the exterior perks are amazing. Our kids (7, 9, 13, and 16) all loved it. The only complaint from anyone in our family was that we could not stay longer. From the personalized snacks and greeting board, to the follow up from Matt and his family, they made it a perfect escape for our family and was just what we needed. Highly recommend to everyone!

Our stay at this mountain Airbnb was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and clearly cared for with pride.

Matt went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and his communication was quick, warm, and so incredibly helpful. We LOVED the clean and impeccably maintained sauna and hot tub. Many days/evenings were spent enjoying both. Exploring the nearby hiking trails, fly fishing and ending our days by the cozy fireplace was priceless as well.

This home truly felt like a retreat. Whether you’re looking to relax, adventure, or simply enjoy the beauty of the mountains, this is the perfect place. Our family of four would recommend this Airbnb a 100 times over and I cannot possibly rate it high enough. We cannot wait to stay again! We spent Christmas in the mountains in the perfect place with our family. The 2 separate cabins was the best setup since we traveled with my in laws. They had their own place to go to and we had our own place with our kids. The spa and sauna were enjoyed by all. Matt (the owner) made sure our stay was above our expectations. He gave each of us our own stockings and the house was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat in town. I wish I could give this place more than just 5 stars. We all talked about how we would love to come back in the summer to see the place and surrounding area another time. We will hold on to our memories forever of our Christmas in the mountains!!!

The Glen provides an unparalleled get away experience. The location is fantastic—a peaceful retreat in the midst of nature with quick access to shops and restaurants. The interior is spacious and beautifully decorated—a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family to gather, play games and listen to music. The exterior is peaceful and serene—a luxurious three level deck with spa, sauna and fire pit. Be sure to walk the North Trail as the views of Pikes Peak are breathtaking. To borrow from John Muir, The Glen is a place to “lose your mind and find your soul.”

This place was absolutely magical!!

This place was absolutely magical! From deer strolling by while we sat by the fire watching a movie, to the cozy sauna. Every moment felt straight out of a winter fairytale. We even got lucky with snow, and when we were snowed in for a day, Matt went above and beyond. He checked on us regularly, cleared the roadway every day, and even offered to grab groceries if we needed anything.
Other Airbnb hosts should take notes!! This is, without a doubt, the best place and best host we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a true winter wonderland with exceptional hospitality, this is it!

10 year anniversary/vow renewal

Wow! Where to even start! Our family made the most memorable stay at the Glen. We chose Colorado to renew our vows after 10 years, along side our three kids and close family. We didn’t know for sure where we hold our tiny celebration until upon arrival- Right when you pull in, you see a beautiful large wooden cross on the hill- right then we just knew it would be at the Glen. The separate cabins, hot tub, sauna, hiking trails and views were impressive!! Having two separate cabins (each with their own living spaces) fit perfect for our family of five plus two extra family members. It was equipped with a gas grill, all the utensils, linens, washer and dryer. You’re only 10-15 minutes from town, which had plenty of stores and restaurants to chose from. You will feel right at home and won’t want to leave. Matt was always quick to respond, referred us to all the great locations to check out.

The Glen will always hold a special place in our hearts!!

We chose to head out to Colorado and renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary. We didn’t have any set plans on where we would be going for sure for our renewal, but as soon as we got to the Glen we just knew it had to be done at the property. My husband and Matt (the owner) had been in communication back and forth before, while and after we even left. He was the best host, any questions we had he messaged right away. The scenery was absolutely beautiful once you went on the trails on the property. The cross in the pictures below are along those trails, which made for the perfect spot! You could even get a glimpse of pikes peak mountain in the background.
We were only 10 minutes outside from town, which was perfect. Definitely would recommend this place for a family!!

We had an amazing stay at The Glen. Everything exceeded expectations and coming the week of Christmas was a magical experience! Everything inside and out was beautifully decorated. The QR codes around the cabin were very helpful. We took advantage of all the amazing amenities.

We’ve been using VRBO for over a decade to find unique luxury properties all over the world. The Glen is by far the best little slice of heaven thus far. The hosts were extremely accommodating and kind. Everything was so clean and beautifully designed both inside and out with absolute attention to every little detail. We were just in complete awe the entire stay and felt incredibly spoiled on top of all of that with the spa area and fire pit. Aside from the property and cabins, our favorite part was watching the aspen trees in their full fall color palate, while glistening in the wind. We were also blessed to have the most adorable family of four mule deer’s visit us nightly at dusk for dinner as they grazed in the front yard. Overall, everything at The Glen was so spectacular that we didn’t even want to leave to drive into town a short couple of miles away. Or outside the city limits within the 30-90 mile radius between Woodland Park to Denver, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek. Thank you for the best trip in our travels yet. We really needed to unplug and now we know where to each time.

The Glen Colorado was everything I was hoping for. Encircled in trees and mountains, it allows for ample privacy, yet it's located within 10 minutes of town to allow for activity, shopping, and dining. This was a birthday trip for my teen daughter and her friends, and they were thrilled to have Aspen and its amenities in which to celebrate! I cooked full meals in the kitchen, and was grateful the owners had thought of everything. The mountain landscaping, ponds, fountain (and soon to be waterfall) lent themselves to a gorgeous back drop. There is solid WiFi, streaming TVs, and music on site. The videos and pictures online, while inviting, don't do the experience justice. It exceeded our expectations. We saw deer, chipmunks, birds, and a gorgeous gray fox in the first few hours after arrival. The observation deck/fire pit area with Colorado's starry skies and the hot tub were the perfect way to end the night. I slept in Willow, and it was very comfortable! We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend! Can't wait to come back! .

We didn’t want to leave for our day trips!The hosts took hospitality to the next level with great notes on how to enjoy every moment in their houses from how to use the record player to how to warm up the sauna. The Glen is a beautiful place.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect mix of quiet cottages, lovely surroundings and every little detail thought through by our hosts. All the extras, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, lighting made the stay definitely feel like a retreat away to relax and rejuvenate. Not far from shopping, restaurants and an easy 20-25 min drive into Colorado springs. Highly recommend!!
